Sacramento Police Department Deputy Chief Sam Somers, center, is named Chief of Police at the Sacramento City Hall Wednesday, February 13, 2013. Sacramento City Manager John Shirey made the announcement to members of the press today. Somers replaces former Police Chief Rick Braziel.
