Re "Californian vs. Texas" (Jack Ohman, Feb. 10): The Bee's editorial board must think it is appropriate to mock, taunt, demonize and stigmatize a group of people because of cultural differences. I guess the Bee editors don't read their own paper. In his column "Nonstop work built his dream," Feb. 10, Marcus Breton remembers watching television shows in which Asian accents were mocked openly on network television. David Mas Masumoto, "In immigration debate, labels demonize and dehumanize," Forum, Feb. 10, states that labels demonize and dehumanize.
On the next page, Jack Ohman uses crude stereotypes to demonize and dehumanize the people of Texas characterizing them as ignorant, uneducated and stupid.
The Bee needs to suggest real answers to the problem of business fleeing California instead of marginalizing Gov. Rick Perry and the people of Texas.
