Re "Kaiser ahead of curve" (Page A1, Feb. 18): Kaiser does a good job with regard to prevention, electronic records, wellness and integration. But when it comes to treating the patient, Kaiser at times seems to drop the ball.
Forgetting about kidney transplant patients and autism patients are but a few examples. It seems Kaiser is more interested in treating what's currently in the news instead of treating all illnesses. How many times have you read about new cutting-edge technology being implemented at Kaiser?
I wish that Kaiser would spend as much time treating as they do preventing.
