TONIGHT'S GAME

Kings (19-35) vs. Spurs (42-12)

Time: 7 p.m. Where: Sleep Train Arena

TV: CSNCA Radio: KHTK (1140)

THREE KEYS

1. Disciplined defense: Few teams are as good as the Spurs at making the opposition work on defense. They will use crisp execution and ball movement to get what they want. The Kings can't get lazy or the Spurs will exploit them.

2. Paint approach: Tim Duncan remains one of the best big men in the NBA, and he'll give DeMarcus Cousins all he can handle. Cousins has to play smart on offense and not get into foul trouble.

3. Home momentum: This is the last game before a five-game trip, the Kings' second-longest this season. The Kings are 5-23 on the road, so they could use a boost from tonight.
