Re "Cordova Hills will cost the entire region" (Forum, Feb. 24): I find it curious that Folsom Mayor Steve Micklos would contribute to this column. If my recollection serves me well the City of Folsom has received permission to expand south of Highway 50.
I wonder if Miklos held the same criteria in mind when seeking that expansion as he now exhibits for the Cordova Hills project.
Cordova Hills is a bad idea as is the expansion of Folsom south of Hwy 50. Why expand into these areas when infill land throughout Sacramento County is left vacant? The regional plan was put into place to stop this kind of hopscotch development. Why is it continually ignored?
