Roosters Men's Grooming Center, a national franchise chain with outlets styled like a traditional men's barber shop, is scheduled to open in June at the Palladio at Broadstone shopping complex in Folsom.
Roosters, started in Michigan in 1999, has more than 50 shops nationwide, including one in Roseville.
Roosters touts a laid-back atmosphere with old-school barber chairs, dark wood interiors and a mid-20th century ambience. Services include steam towels, facial shaves and "advice on golf, free."
The Folsom shop owner is Toney Sebra, who also operates the Roosters shop at 781 Pleasant Grove Blvd., in Roseville.
