Re "Voting rights still need to be safeguarded" (Editorials, Feb. 28): While it is comforting to read any rebuke to the constitutional monarch our U.S. Supreme Court has become, the editorial is much too lenient.
The very best that can be said of Justices John Roberts and Anthony Kennedy is that they're racially insensitive to a dangerous degree, while Antonin Scalia proves his racist roots with every breath.
These men do not, as the editorial hopefully suggests, want free and fair elections. To the contrary, they expose a stunning ignorance of the racial intolerance exposed over the past elective cycle. They should have absolutely no business interpreting our constitution.
