Kuhns leads Sac State women over Weber State

Kylie Kuhns grabbed 20 rebounds to eclipse the Big Sky Conference career record, and Megan Kritscher swatted five shots to claim the league's season blocks record as the Sacramento State women's basketball team (16-10, 11-6) defeated Weber State 63-57 on Thursday night in Ogden, Utah, Sac State reported.

Kuhns has 1,178 rebounds, eclipsing the previous record of 1,174 by Idaho State's Natalie Doma (2004-08).

Kritscher has 101 blocks this season, breaking the previous Big Sky mark of 100 by Eastern Washington's Brenda Souther (1983-84).

UC Davis 47, UC Irvine 43 in Irvine – The Aggies (12-15, 7-9) held UC Irvine (9-18, 5-10) without a point in the final five minutes, outscoring the Anteaters 13-0 down the stretch, and rallied from a late nine-point deficit for a critical Big West Conference win, UCD reported.


UC Davis 59, UC Riverside 52 in Riverside – Ryan Sypkens (Franklin High School) scored 16 points to lead the Aggies (13-14, 8-7 Big West) over the Highlanders (6-22, 3-12).
