Rosemont community members are organizing a public memorial service to commemorate the one-year anniversary of the killing of 13-year-old Jessica Funk-Haslam.
The vigil will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday at Rosemont Community Park, next to Albert Einstein Middle School, where Funk-Haslam was a student. Her body was discovered in a dugout of a baseball diamond at the park on the morning of March 6, 2012.
Her killer has not been identified or arrested despite a $10,000 reward for information in the case.
