Re "Agency obscures facts for twin tunnels project" (Forum, March 3): I cannot believe that northern Californians are going to sit back and let the state government steal their land and their water to supply southern California.
Global warming is predicted to increase sea levels; it would be cheaper to install desalinization plants along the southern coast to use that water. I can only think of one reason this hasn't already been done -- local residents don't want such ugliness in their views.
Does our government really believe that destruction of fish and farms is the only solution?
