Sunny skies and warm temperatures are expected to dominate the weather this weekend in the Sacramento region.
Today's high will hover around 69 degrees, with 70 being the high for tomorrow.
"We're five degrees above normal," said National Weather Service forecaster Stefanie Henry.
But by late afternoon today, breezy winds will make their way into area. Expect gusts up to 15-20 mph.
Still, the dry spell should last through the week. There's a small chance for a weather system to come in next weekend, Henry said.
Here's your seven-day forecast:
Today: Sunny, with a high near 68. Light north northeast wind becoming north northwest 9 to 14 mph in the morning. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph.
Tonight: Clear, with a low around 39. North northwest wind 8 to 10 mph.
Sunday: Sunny, with a high near 70. Light and variable wind.
Sunday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 42. Light and variable wind.
Monday: Sunny, with a high near 73. Calm wind.
Monday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 47.
Tuesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 75.
Tuesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 48.
Wednesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 76.
Wednesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 48.
Thursday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 75.
Thursday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 47.
Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 74.
