This will be an Easter to remember.
Union Street in San Francisco on March 31 will host its annual Spring Celebration and Easter parade.
That will be seven hours of live entertainment, children's activities and yummy food not to mention the Easter bunny, who will be hopping around during the whole event. In addition to the street food fare, area restaurants will offer special Easter menus.
The Union Street Easter Parade is "a fabulous procession showcasing all that is wonderful, unique, wacky and elegant about the San Francisco Bay Area," boasts promoter Steven Revisto Event Services.
Starting at 2 p.m., the intersection of Gough and Union streets will fill up with 50 parade groups that will march down five blocks to Fillmore Street. Everything from old cars to floats will be participating in what is billed as the "Biggest Little Parade in San Francisco."
