Ancil Hoffman – Nice overall; greens usually at their best/firmest the week before aerification
Bartley Cavanaugh – New fleet of carts as of Sunday; first-tee starter keeps order in crowded space
Bing Maloney – Not bad but not as tip-top heading into summer as last year; players in this weekend's Sacramento City Men's Regional Four-Ball can expect some thin lies
Diamond Oaks – Solid throughout; past problematic greens (Nos. 5 and 7) rolling beautifully
Empire Ranch – Greens lighting fast, and rest of course isn't too shabby, either
Teal Bend – Same ol' between Sacramento River and airport – all good tee through green
WildHawk – Has lowered height at which greens are cut and rolling them 2-3 times a week
Aerified last week: Haggin Oaks (MacKenzie), Morgan Creek, Plumas Lake
Aerified this week: Cherry Island, Wild Wings
Scheduled to aerify next week: Ancil Hoffman, Davis, Haggin Oaks (Arcade Creek back nine), Lincoln Hills (Hills), Whitney Oaks.

• Stay on topic. Only post comments relevant to the article at hand.
• Do not copy and paste outside material into the comment box.
• Don't repeat the same comment over and over. We heard you the first time.
• Do not use the commenting system for advertising. That's spam and it isn't allowed.
• Don't use all capital letters. That's akin to yelling and not appreciated by the audience.
• Don't flag other users' comments just because you don't agree with their point of view. Please only flag comments that violate these guidelines.
