Re "Senate panel passes gun bill" (Capitol & California, March 15): Sen. Dianne Feinstein, Do not apologize to Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas. You are right to assume that the current gun legislation is not infringing on any reasonable interpretation of the Constitution. The senators who lecture you are using the Second Amendment to protect three types of people: greedy gun sellers, mass killers, and disturbed paranoids who perceive a need for heavy firepower to fend off the federal government. The rest of us citizens, including our school children, are sitting ducks.
