Megabus.com, a low-cost bus carrier that began offering express service connecting Sacramento, San Francisco and Sparks, Nev., in December, has launched a new service to and from the Silver Legacy resort casino in downtown Reno.
The service point on West Fifth Street – between North Sierra and North Virginia streets – in Reno will host two daily arrivals and departures to Sacramento and San Francisco.
Customers can go to www.megabus.com to book tickets. Some promotional fares of only $1 are available.
Riders in Reno also have the options of connecting with Sierra Spirit – a free downtown shuttle service that also goes to the University of Reno – and other bus routes.
