How do you keep the family farm in the family?

Sacramento-based Downey Brand, which bills itself as the largest law firm in the Central Valley, has teamed with the WestMark Group, a strategic consulting firm, to present a yearlong series of programs on preserving the multi-generational family farm.

The first free program – "What is Fair? – The Issue of Equal and Equitable In An Evolving Multigenerational Family Business" – will run from 10 a.m. to noon on Thursday at the Downey Brand offices at 621 Capitol Mall (18th floor) downtown.
