Hunter Pence had a two-run double and Brandon Belt went 3-for-4 with an RBI single as the San Francisco Giants posted a 4-2 victory over the San Diego Padres in a Cactus League clash.
Brandon Crawford added a run-scoring double as part of a 2-for-4 day at the plate for San Francisco, while starting pitcher Yusmeiro Petit yielded just one run on four hits over a four-inning stint.
Alexi Amarista doubled and tripled with a run scored to pace the Padres offensively, with Mark Kotsay finishing 2-for-3 in the loss.
Andrew Cashner struck out four over four innings of work for San Diego, but was dealt the loss after permitting two runs on three hits.
