Ladonna Faye Chandler of Elk Grove pleaded guilty Thursday to 12 counts of felony bank fraud for raiding the treasury of a Sacramento County business where she worked by cashing checks she altered and stole.
Chandler, 54, embezzled $309,369 from Platinum Services LLC for her personal use.
According to court papers, from July 2007 through October 2010 Chandler was employed as the bookkeeper for Platinum Services, which provided commercial janitorial services. She was in charge of the firm's finances, including issuing and depositing checks and transferring funds. Chandler received and processed all customer payments.
