Re "Push to unionize Medi-Cal workers" (Page A1, March 29): Wow--$60 an hour. A potential $124,800 a year per interpreter.
Obviously, Assembly Speaker John A. Perez bumped his head. Just because it is paid in part by federal subsidies doesn't mean that we should spend recklessly.
Perez proposes a minimum of $60 an hour for thousands of Medi-Cal interpreters. Can anyone interpret this fiscal insanity for Perez?
