Re "The man who may decide the future of gay rights" (Forum, March 24): It is warming to the heart to know that more and more, the majority of the country is on the side of equal protection and more and more rabidly against discrimination.
Diehard Republicans, of course, bring up all sorts of bogus arguments about procreation, when gay people can and do procreate, about morality, when it is only their own morality that concerns them, and about God's will. as if they have their own pipeline to the deity.
America's populace is, thanks to genuine goodness, turning a more enlightened ear toward bogus arguments. Will the U.S. Supreme Court?
