Camblin Steel Service Inc., a Sacramento company specializing in rebar and dating back to 1954, has closed on a $4 million building in Rocklin and will eventually move there.

Camblin currently has offices at 1655 El Camino Ave.

Jim Azevedo, senior vice president of business development for San Francisco-based TMC Financing, said Camblin closed escrow on 23,575 square feet of industrial space at 4135 and 4175 Cincinnati Ave., in Rocklin on March 27.

The transaction was financed via a Small Business Administration loan.

Azevedo, hired earlier this year to oversee Sacramento-area operations for TMC, said Camblin is "bursting at the seams" at its Sacramento site and needed more room to operate.

Camblin fabricates, furnishes and installs reinforcing steel and wire mesh for concrete for clients throughout Northern California and Nevada.

Past projects have included power plants, office buildings, parking garages and highway structures.
