THREE KEYS
• Fast start: Dallas will be playing the second game of a back-to-back and its third game in four nights. The Kings cannot come out sluggish and allow the Mavericks to dictate the tempo.
• Bench points: Besides Marcus Thornton, the Kings haven't had much offense from the bench lately. Someone else from the second unit needs to provide a spark.
• Defense: The Kings have allowed an average 119.7 points in their three games against Dallas. Their point of attack on defense must improve or Dirk Nowitzki, Vince Carter and O.J. Mayo will be on the perimeter waiting to take open jump shots.
