A Family Funday Sunday will be the centerpiece of an expanded Festival of the Arts from April 12-17 at Sacramento State.

Family Funday Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on April 14 will include demonstrations, performances, exhibits, music and a Kids' Zone, with bounce house and free ice cream.

Sacto MoFo, offering food from Sacramento's mobile vendors, also will be on campus April 14.

The six-day festival will spotlight the university's arts programs with performances of "Cabaret," jazz by "Saturday Night Live" trombonist and Sacramento State alumnus Steve Turre, and art gallery exhibits.

There also will be theatrical and dance presentations, and art demonstrations across campus.

Parking on the campus at 6000 J St. is free for most events.

Visit www.al.csus.edu/festival/ for a schedule and more details or call the College of Arts and Letters at (916) 278-6502.
