A fallen soldier from Elk Grove will be remembered at a 5K walk Saturday at Elk Grove Regional Park.

The fourth annual "Walk to Remember" is in honor of Bryan Hall, 33, formerly of Elk Grove, who was killed by a suicide bomber in Iraq on April 10, 2009.

Registration begins at 9 a.m. and the walk starts at 10 a.m. Participants may register online at www.walktorememberbryanhall.com.

Proceeds from the walk will be split between the Bryan E. Hall Memorial Scholarship and an education fund established for Hall's 6-year-old daughter, Addison.

Last year's event drew 700 participants, according to organizers.
