Offensive explosion: The River Cats erupted for the second straight game, collecting 15 hits en route to a 15-11 win over Reno at Aces Ballpark on Saturday. The Cats won 16-8 on Friday.

Nervous as a Cat?: The River Cats took an 11-2 lead in the fifth, but the Aces trailed 12-10 in the seventh.

Slump busting: The Cats' Scott Moore, who entered the game with just one hit in 21 at-bats this season, went 4 for 5 with two RBIs and three runs.

Video-game numbers: In the first two games of this four-game series, the River Cats have scored 31 runs on 30 hits. The River Cats have scored 36 runs during their three-game winning streak.

Moving on up: Outfielder Michael Taylor, who had five RBIs Friday night, was called up Saturday by the A's to replace the injured Yoenis Cespedes.

Today: River Cats LHP Andrew Werner (0-2, 12.10 ERA) vs. Reno RHP Nelson Figueroa (0-0, 6.75), 1:05 p.m., Aces Ballpark in Reno.
