• Piling on: After scoring 31 runs in the first two games of the series, the visiting River Cats crushed the Reno Aces 22-6 Sunday for their fourth straight victory.

• Homer happy: Stephen Vogt and Michael Choice each homered twice for Sacramento. Choice hit two solo shots, while Vogt had a solo homer and a grand slam.

• Catching on: Vogt finished 5 for 6 with six RBIs and four runs. In his first six games with the Cats, he is 16 for 27 (.593) with five multihit games.

• Almost famous: The Cats fell one run short of the franchise record for runs in a game. They set the mark on July 23, 2004, in Las Vegas.

• Double trouble: Daric Barton had two doubles, giving him a record 85 as a River Cat.

• Today: River Cats RHP Jesse Chavez (0-1, 0.00 ERA) vs. Reno RHP Randall Delgado (0-1, 15.63), 6:35 p.m., Aces Ballpark, Reno.
