With gusts near 40 mph in the Sacramento region, Sadai Hasen worries about losing his cap Tuesday while waiting for a bus near the Capitol. Sacramento International Airport had a burst at 37 mph and Lincoln felt a 38 mph blast. No damage or power outages were reported, a relief after last week's scattered blackouts and downed tree limbs. Up at Sugarloaf near Kyburz on Highway 50, a 52 mph wind speed was recorded. Winds could pick up again today, the National Weather Service says, but won't be as strong, with no advisories expected. Sacramento Valley highs today are forecast in the low 70s, with warming through the week and low 80s ahead this weekend.
