A look at tonight's Kings game vs. L.A. Clippers; including: broadcast information, three keys to the game and probable starters.

TONIGHT'S GAME

Kings (28-53) vs. L.A. Clippers (55-26)

Time: 7:30 p.m.

Where: Sleep Train Arena

TV: CSNCA

Radio: 1140

THREE KEYS

Fast start: The first quarter has been a struggle for the Kings the past three games. Tonight would be a good time for DeMarcus Cousins to set the tone early. When he does that his teammates usually respond well. With Tyreke Evans (left quad strain) out, Cousins and Isaiah Thomas become more important on offense.

Defensive awareness: The Clippers are among the NBA's best teams at scoring off lobs and backdoor plays thanks to point guard Chris Paul and a collection of athletic players around him. The Kings can't get caught staring at Paul and lose track of their defensive assignments.

Know what's at stake: Not knowing Sacramento's NBA future, the Kings need to play the active, unselfish style they've used when they're at their best. If they play unselfishly, the Kings will be entertaining, win or lose.
