Walk-off finish: The River Cats had their winning streak halted at six games as Omar Quintanilla singled in the winning run in the bottom of the ninth to give the Las Vegas 51s a 3-2 victory.

Montz's big night: Luke Montz went 2 for 2 with a solo home run in the fourth inning and reached base in all four plate appearances.

Thomas sharp: River Cats starter Justin Thomas went 6 1/3 innings, giving up two runs and six hits while striking out five.

Green's hot bat: Grant Green went 2 for 5 and has six hits in his last two games.

Vogt's streak grows: Stephen Vogt went 1 for 5, extending his hitting streak to nine games, tying the team's season high. He is hitting .500.

Today's game: River Cats RHP Sonny Gray (1-0, 2.45 ERA) vs. 51s LHP Darin Gorski (0-1, 9.00 ERA), 7:05 p.m., Cashman Field, Las Vegas.
