Re "It's about character, shame and responsibility" (Viewpoints, April 20): The article reminds us that our nation needs to sometimes take a step back and breathe a bit when it comes to issues of terrorism. Sometimes we tend to judge people of the same ethnicity, religion and even family the same for the wrongdoings of criminals. We tend to forget that there is good and bad in every group, and that there are innocent people like Ruslan Tsarni who want no part in these problems. Tsarni, the uncle of the marathon bombers, deserves a pat on the back for his courage to talk about character, shame, and responsibility.
