Unseasonably warm weather is forecast to continue in the Sacramento region, but not go anywhere near the record for April.
Sacramento has never recorded a 100-degree reading in April, according to the National Weather Service. However, on April 26, 2004, the mercury came close to the century mark when a high of 98 degrees was reached.
Today will be pretty warm for April 22, but probably not creep into the 90s. The high today is expected to be around 86 degrees in Sacramento, according to forecasters.
The normal high for April 22 is 74 degrees.
