The 49ers and Raiders both have had drafts they'd like to do over. Both also have gotten it right, though recently the Raiders have drafted about as poorly as can be imagined.

In the past 20 years, these are the best 49ers and Raiders drafts (highlighted player, position, round picked).

For the 49ers:

1994: Bryant Young. DT, first; William Floyd, FB, first. 1996: Terrell Owens, WR, third. 2004: Isaac Sopoaga, DT, fourth; Andy Lee, P, sixth. 2006: Vernon Davis, TE, first; Delanie Walker, TE, sixth. 2007: Patrick Willis, LB, first; Joe Staley, T, first; Dashon Goldson, DB, fourth. 2010: Anthony Davis, T, first; Mike Iupati, G, first; NaVorro Bowman, LB, third. 2011: Aldon Smith, DE, first; Colin Kaepernick, QB, second; Kendall Hunter, RB, fourth.

Best 49ers draft pick in the past 20 years: Frank Gore, RB, third round, 2005.

For the Raiders:

2000: Sebastian Janikowski, K, first; Jerry Porter, WR, second; Shane Lechler, P, fifth. 2003: Nnamdi Asomugha, DB, first; Justin Fargas, FB, third. 2007: Zach Miller, TE, second; Michael Bush, RB, fourth; (major demerit for picking quarterback JaMarcus Russell first overall). 2008: Darren McFadden, RB. first; Tyvon Branch, DB, fourth.
