Cats glance: More shaky defense helps send River Cats to defeat

Game highlight: Kila Ka'aihue had three hits, including a two-run homer in the eighth inning, to lead the Reno Aces over the River Cats 6-2 Tuesday at Raley Field.

Get some glue: The River Cats made two more errors, giving them 29 in 20 games, and are on a pace for a franchise-record 209. The record of 142 was set in 2000.

Scarsone tossed: Sacramento manager Steve Scarsone was ejected in the top of the third for arguing with the plate umpire.

Transaction: Reliever Evan Scribner was added to the River Cats' roster after being optioned by the A's.

Next game: River Cats RHP Sonny Gray (1-1, 3.94 ERA) vs. Salt Lake RHP Orangel Arenas (1-2, 4.85), Thursday, 7:05 p.m., Raley Field.
