The Sacramento State men's track and field team remained unbeaten against UC Davis and the schools' women tied in the Causeway Dual Meet on Friday night in Davis, Sac State reported on its athletics website.
The Hornets men cruised to a 120-68 victory, while the women finished in a 94-94 draw. The men are 7-0-1 against the Aggies since the revival of the dual meet in 2005. The Sac State women lead the all-time series 5-2-1.
The Hornets men won 14 of the 18 events, including a sweep of the shot put, discus and hammer by Zach Coniglio.
Baseball HOF to add nine
A limited number of tickets remain for tonight's 59th annual La Salle Club Baseball Hall of Fame induction banquet at Christian Brothers High School.
The class of 2013 has nine members: former high school pitchers Butch Metzger (Kennedy) and Fernando Arroyo (Burbank), who competed against each other in the old Metro League and later played in the major leagues; former Grant High and Japan League star Leon Lee; former Bishop Armstrong star and Christian Brothers coach Joe Gill; Tom Dicktakes (Sacramento High); Mike Green (Bishop Armstrong); Gene Sackett (McClatchy); Gary Szakacs (Mira Loma); and former Bee staff writer Nick Peters, who covered the Giants for 47 years.

The Sac State and UC Davis football teams will end spring practice with events today, the schools announced. Sac State's Green-Gold Spring Game is scheduled for 9 a.m. at Hornet Stadium, and UCD's Spring Preview is set for 11 a.m. at Aggie Stadium.

UC Davis (11-13) lost 4-0 to No. 45 Long Beach State (19-3) in the quarterfinals of the Big West Women's Tennis Championships in Indian Wells, UCD reported.
No. 18 UC Davis (14-16) fell 8-5 to No. 6 UC Irvine (21-8) in the first round of the Big West Women's Water Polo Championships in Irvine, UCD reported.
