BLUE RIDGE TRAIL, CACHE CREEK
"Poised like a massive wave forever about to break, a mighty ridge looms on the west rim of the Sacramento Valley. The Blue Ridge trailhead leads hikers to its namesake, a rocky spine that runs for 29 miles through the Cache Creek Natural Area.
