High springtime temperatures will reign this week - and Tuesday will see the return of hot, dry north winds.
The normal daytime maximum for late April in Sacramento is around the mid-70s. But this spring has been unseasonably warm.
Already, Sacramento has had two days with 90 degrees or higher weather in April. Today's high is also expected top 90.
Then, the temperature drops a couple of degrees on Tuesday as blustery conditions return to the Sacramento Valley. Gusts are expected to top the 30 mph mark in the Sacramento region on Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service.
