Erik's DeliCafé to open first area outlet in Roseville

Published: Wednesday, May. 1, 2013 - 3:06 pm

Erik's DeliCafé, which has 32 franchise restaurants throughout California, will open its first Sacramento-area eatery next month in Roseville.

The new restaurant at 1450 Lead Hill Blvd., will offer sandwiches, wraps, salads and made-from-scratch soups.

Officials are aiming for an early June opening.

"Erik's commitment to quality ingredients, like produce from nearby farms, makes our restaurant a great fit for the Roseville community," said local franchise owner Ron Engebretson. "The store has a convenient location, great atmosphere, and we think folks at the nearby Roseville Shopping Center and Kaiser Permanente Medical Center will be delighted to have a fresh and healthy new place to eat."

Catering services also will be available.

The first Erik's DeliCafé opened in Scotts Valley in 1973.
