Hot weather in the Sacramento region will be replaced by milder conditions.
Saturday's high temperature hit 90 degrees at Sacramento Executive Airport, but the region will see a "gradual decline in temperatures for the next several days," said Drew Peterson, National Weather Service forecaster.
The shift is the result of a low-pressure system that is moving in from the east, Peterson said.
