Isolated showers forecast for Sacramento

A low pressure system is bringing cool, unsettled weather with isolated showers to the Sacramento region today.

Some residents in the area awoke to raindrops on their windshields this morning as scattered showers occurred overnight. Look for a chance of more showers - and even afternoon thunderstorms - for the next two day in the Sacramento area, according to the National Weather Service.

Then, on Wednesday, temperatures will begin to warm and skies will mostly clear as a high pressure system rebuilds.
