QUINCY – The search for a missing Plumas County man intensified Friday as officials expanded their investigation beyond the Feather River Canyon and La Porte areas. Clifford Stephan Wade, 69, was last seen at his residence in Meadow Valley on May 1, said Plumas County Sheriff's Detective Chris Hendrickson. Also missing is Wade's 1969 cream-colored Mercury Cougar, a well-maintained vehicle that officials hope will help find Wade. Wade was reported missing on May 3, Hendrickson said. He is 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighing 234 pounds with white hair and blue eyes. The Cougar's California license plate is 4RCN896, Hendrickson said. He asked anyone with information about Wade or his Cougar to contact the Plumas County Sheriff's Office at (530) 283-6300.
