Sunny skies should dominate the coming week, the National Weather Service predicts.

Saturday's high temperature reached 92 degrees at Sacramento Executive Airport, according to the weather service. Today's high is expected to hit 91 degrees.

"We're 10 degrees above normal," said Robert Baruffaldi, a forecaster with the weather service in Sacramento.

By Monday, temperatures in the region will start inching toward the 80-degree range.

Baruffaldi said the cooler temperatures are the result of a Delta breeze moving through and a weather system off the Pacific Northwest coast.
