Folsom-based Sierra Vista Bank says it has received more than $1.5 million in new capital funding from the Taylor International Fund Ltd.
The new funding is in addition to more than $2 million raised in a public offering by the bank in last year's third quarter.
"The additional capital will allow our financial organization to expand its customer base and seek new growth opportunities in our local communities," said Greg Patton, bank president and CEO.
Sierra Vista has branches in Folsom and Cameron Park.
The bank recently reported a profit of $52,000, 2 cents a share, in the first quarter ended March 31. That was up from a loss of $697,000, 35 cents a share, in the year-ago period.
