Temperatures are expected to reach the low 70s again today in Sacramento. Monday's high temperature was 92 degrees, but the mercury reached only 74 degrees Wednesday at Sacramento Executive Airport, according to the National Weather Service.

The normal maximum for late May in Sacramento is 82 degrees. But starting Friday, a slight warming trend begins for the Memorial Day weekend, where high temperatures are expected to range between 78 and 84 degrees.
