Mariposa and Bradshaw Christian have become the class of Sac-Joaquin Section Division 6 baseball the last few years.
The two schools have combined to win the last three section crowns, including a 4-3 victory by the Grizzlies over the Pride in the 2012 title game.
Bradshaw will be out for revenge when the teams meet again this afternoon. Mariposa will be playing for its third blue banner in four years.
The first pitch is scheduled for noon at Tony Zupo Field in Lodi.
The two teams traveled very different paths to the title game.
The Pride (23-6) took care of the Southern League, cruising to the final game with convincing wins over Le Grand and Ripon Christian.
The Grizzlies (22-3) had a slightly bumpier road.
Mariposa had to rally late past a scrappy Vacaville Christian team, then was down to its last six outs in the best-of-three semifinal series with Woodland Christian.
Down 4-0 in the top of the sixth, the Grizzlies used five hits and a walk to plate five runs and pull out a wild victory.
Both teams return a number of players who participated in last year's title game.
