Re "Salty risks for Delta's flow" (Page A1, June 9):
Sacramento Valley Dry river beds show their rocky bottom. Tall stately trees along the shore, dead. Song birds took flight, silence. Two large tunnels, mouths open wide, waiting for rain. Delta drained, wasteland of mud. Boats sitting askew, waiting for water, fishermen gone.
Is this what Californians want? Stop the building of the tunnels.
