Neither hot nor cold, today's temperatures in the Sacramento region are expected to be just about normal for mid-June.
The National Weather Service is forecasting a high of about 87 degrees today. The remainder of the work week is predicted to be about the same with the warmest day being Friday when the mercury could reach 90 degrees.
The weekend cools a few degrees with highs in the mid-80s.
