Area Shriners hospital ranks highly in U.S.

Shriners Hospitals for Children Northern California in Sacramento has been ranked as a leading pediatric orthopedic center in U.S. News & World Report's 2013-14 list of children's hospitals in the United States.

It was ranked among the top 50 pediatric orthopedic programs in conjunction with UC Davis Children's Hospital, part of the UCD Medical Center in Sacramento. The national ranking was No. 41.

"The rankings also are a reflection of the partnerships we have formed with UC Davis Health System," said Margaret Bryan, administrator and CEO of the local Shriners hospital.
