Congress is hurting middle class with loan, immigration bills

Re "Overhaul could shift immigrant dynamics" (Page A1, June 11): At the same time that Congress is considering increasing student loan rates so middle-class families can't afford college, they want to changing the immigration laws so that there will be a lot more highly-educated immigrants, thus relieving the current middle class of any need for higher education.

Somehow I doubt our unemployed and uneducated children will be happy with this solution.
