AgStart's launch set for next week

The Sacramento Area Regional Technology Alliance next Tuesday will formally launch AgStart, a program aimed at accelerating growth of companies developing innovative sustainable agricultural technologies.

AgStart plans to make seed grants to companies commercializing agriculture tech innovations. AgStart was started with proceeds from a $1 million federal grant.

AgStart's launch event is set for 6 to 8 p.m. June 25 at Club Pheasant, 2525 Jefferson Blvd., West Sacramento. To register or obtain more details, see launch_party.html.
