Road paving on the Garden Highway could have an effect on golf tee times and lunch at two restaurants next week.
The pavement repair of Garden Highway from North Bayou Road to West Elverta Road from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday to Thursday will create intermittent lane closures and traffic restrictions.
The Sacramento County Department of Transportation warns that the work will affect both northbound and southbound traffic on the Garden Highway.
Emergency vehicles and local resident traffic will be allowed, with possible delays. This traffic includes access to Teal Bend Golf Club, Alamar Restaurant and Marina, and Swabbies on the River, according to the county.
Detours will be set up around the pavement repair project area. The pavement work will also be undertaken from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 8 to July 26.
